A new Citation Latitude 680A was delivered into the UK and onto the Air Charter Scotland (ACS) AOC. Vector managed the process of acceptance and introduction on to the UK register and the ACS AOC. The aircraft is currently being striped before entering service.

Vector completed the pre-buy inspection of an Embraer EMB-505 Phenom 300 destined for Air Charter Scotland. Vector will manage the introduction into service as a new aircraft type for ACS.

Vector has been requested to support the placement of a Jetstream 41 by Nineteen Hundred Aviation Ltd (Kevin Wright). The work required covers re-registration, full review of status, compilation of work scope and EASA C of A issue. The aircraft recently came off lease from a long-term contract with a Greek operator and; will now be placed with an Icelandic operator by 01 February 2018.

Vector was contracted by Cello Aviation to create an AMP for a BAe RJ100 that has been recently acquired to cover ACMI and charter business requirements. The aircraft is currently undergoing pre-entry into service maintenance and; a full repaint. It is planned to be available for charter by mid-November.

September 2017 News

Vector completed the ARC for a privately-owned VIP Cessna Citation 560 XL. The aircraft is operated by Air Charter Scotland (ACS).

Vector was contracted by Arena Aviation Limited to review the documentation for an Embraer ERJ-135 Legacy 600 to present aircraft for import C of A. The aircraft was previously owned and operated by Falcon Aviation Services in the UAE.

Vector was contracted by ASL Airlines Limited to provide various OASES support services for the addition of a Boeing 737-400 to their fleet. This is the sixth aircraft addition where Vector has provided OASES support services.

August 2017 News

– Vector assisted with the delivery and addition onto the fleet of a Cessna Citation 560XLS+ for Air Charter Scotland (ACS). ACS is one of the most reputable and reliable private jet operators in the UK. ACS offers bespoke services using high specification Cessna Citation CJ2+, CJ3, XL, XLS; Embraer Legacy 650 and Dassault Falcon 7X aircraft.

– Vector also completed the addition of a Gulfstream G400 to the Isle of Man air register for a Private Operator with C of A issued (see also June 2017 News). Vector is now providing ongoing maintenance management support services to this operator.

July 2017 News

– Vector was contracted to complete the take-on of a leased Belgian Cessna 208EX (second aircraft) to be placed on Waves Technologies Limited (‘Waves’) AOC. This is an interim lease pending completion of modifications to their new 208EX purchased from Cessna (see also Vector News – March and June 2017). The lease aircraft will be used for training and preparation for AOC operations.

– Vector also completed the recovery and acceptance of a Jetstream 41 from Italy for Airtime AB based in Sweden. Airtime AB is a specialist leasing company, which focuses on Jetstream 31 and 41 regional aircraft. Currently, Airtime AB holds one of the world´s largest Jetstream 41 fleet available for lease or sale. Following the off-lease completion, Vector have also now been contracted to import the aircraft into the UK and process it for UK C of A issue.

June 2017 New

As previously reported last March, Waves Technologies Limited selected Vector to provide specialist continuing airworthiness maintenance management services in support of their Guernsey GAR AOC application.

Waves is pressing forward to have a fully functional inter-island service by this Summer utilising the latest Cessna Grand Caravan 208EX aircraft.

Vector was initially contracted to produce the Maintenance Programme (AMP), Management Control Manual (MCM) and Minimum Equipment List (MEL). Vector has completed all requested documentation on budget and on schedule. Vector will now continue to provide ongoing support in the assessment of aircraft specifications and; future maintenance arrangements and budgeting, including maintenance management of the aircraft.

Vector has been working closely with bmi regional since May 2014, providing total support for all Technical Records functions, including Flight Log entry, Component control, Work Pack processing and AD/SB compliance.

April 2017 News

As part of a rolling contract, Vector has recently completed two DHC-6-400 aircraft compliance reports, including a physical survey and records review on behalf of the Scottish Government.

These aircraft were delivered as new in 2015 and leased out for operation from the famous Barra beach airport. Vector’s management team have previous experience of managing maintenance for DHC-6 aircraft at this operation and have completed 2 previous audits on the aircraft.

Waves Technologies Limited (‘Waves’) has selected Vector Aircraft Services Limited (‘Vector’) to provide continuing airworthiness maintenance management services for their unique new air taxi service based in Guernsey.

Waves has filed a new AOC application with the Guernsey Aircraft Register with the aim of having a fully functional inter-island service by this Summer utilising the latest Cessna Grand Caravan EX aircraft.

Vector will produce the Maintenance Programme, Management Control Manual and Minimum Equipment List (MEL) for Waves; as well as providing technical and commercial support for ongoing maintenance arrangements and budgeting including maintenance management of the aircraft.

Waves initially plans to offer trips between Guernsey, Jersey and Alderney; then expand their services to Southampton, Northern France and even Spain and Italy by 2018.
